Our staffing policy is structured majorly to address women and youth unemployment with the engagement of 65% women and 80% youth along our operational chain. We believe strongly in gender equality and youth employment and create opportunities for women and youths. We currently have over 150 direct and indirect jobs created along our value chain for women and youths.
Women’s nutrition as a key to household food and nutrition security is one of our strategies. To this end, we collaborate with primary health care and train women on various nutritious food recipes from biofortified crops. We have trained over 200 women extension officers on biofortified crops and food to ensure proper step-down and information dissemination at the grassroots.
